About Maverick

Maverick is a young Rottweiler with a gentle spirit and a kind soul. He thrives best in a calm and structured environment, surrounded by patient humans who appreciate his soft nature. Maverick doesn't respond well to harsh discipline—he knows how to respect boundaries when treated kindly. He enjoys spending quality time with his people, and his eagerness to please shines through in his interactions. Rescued from a difficult situation in Philadelphia, Maverick showed his true friendly nature immediately. Despite his past, he still meets the world with soft eyes and a wagging tail. During walks, he exhibits excellent manners and is social and wiggly, embracing the Rottie lean that many adore. Although not cat-tested, he is good with children 12 and older, as long as they understand how to make him comfortable. Maverick has recently completed a Board and Train program to boost his confidence, and he's ready to show off all his new skills. If you're ready to welcome a loving companion into your home, consider Maverick!
