Skipper is a spirited and athletic dog longing for a home where she can truly shine. This sweet girl has been with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas, for over two years, overcoming a traumatic past that included the amputation of her front leg. Now, she sports her tripod status with confidence and personality, showcasing her energetic spirit and playful demeanor. Skipper is a charming mix of black and white, and her enthusiastically playful nature makes her the perfect companion for a baseball or softball lover. She adores playing fetch and can keep going until she's worn out, at which point, her cuddly side emerges. Though she needs a little extra time to bond with new people, some treats and a ball are sure to win her over. Skipper has been diligently learning basic commands and is becoming better with leash training, especially using a head halter. She won't thrive in a home with other dogs or cats and would prefer to be your only furry friend.
