Recently, Goliath completed heartworm treatment and will be ready for his forever home by early December. Owning a Great Pyrenees requires some understanding of the breed, as they can be stubborn, vocal, and protective. It’s important to know they cannot be trusted off-leash and will not respect boundaries if trained poorly. Ensure that everyone in your household is on board with adopting him and that you’re prepared to welcome him home right away; he's looking for a family in the New England area. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have researched the breed thoroughly. If you’re interested, a volunteer will contact you to discuss details and to see if you’re a match for Goliath. Adoption involves vet checks and references. You'll need a basic obedience course in the first six months of adoption. Keep in mind the adoption fee is $500 for adult dogs. Dress appropriately for meet-ups, which happen outdoors. Goliath is house trained and ready for a loving family that understands his unique needs. Every animal deserves a happy ending.
