About Charger

Charger is a gentle soul on the lookout for his very special person. This lovely 4-year-old Miniature Poodle, weighing around 9 lbs, found his way to us several months ago after being surrendered by a breeder. While he may be small in size, his journey has been substantial. Initially, Charger struggled with fear, unwilling to look anyone in the eye. He had to learn that hands could bring kindness and that he could indeed trust people. With the unwavering love and patience of his foster family, Charger has made significant progress, although he still needs time to warm up to new faces. He is housebroken, enjoys the company of other dogs, and has never shown aggression. When feeling overwhelmed, his first instinct is to find a safe spot to hide. Weโ€™re not just seeking any home for Charger; we need to find the right one. A securely fenced yard is essential, along with a calm household and a patient adopter who understands the nuances of fearful dogs. Charger will require someone who is willing to earn his trust, celebrate his small victories, and allow him to blossom at his own pace. If you think you can be that special person in Chargerโ€™s life, we would love to hear from you.
