When called from a distance during evaluation, she instantly responded, showcasing her excellent recall. She thrives on interaction with people and would do best with an experienced owner familiar with herding breeds. Beverly’s ideal home should have children 12 and older, as she feels uneasy around younger kids. While she displays moderate resource guarding, she manages well with guidance. She has shown mild leash reactivity when encountering new people or dogs, so continued training will be beneficial in building her confidence. Beverly has a notable prey drive, especially around horses, so a hobby farm could work for her, provided livestock are securely fenced and interactions are managed.
