About Gorda

Gorda is a sweet and laidback lady looking for her forever home. She loves to go for walks, play fetch, and bask in the sun. Initially shy, she quickly warms up and enjoys affection, leaning in for pets and curling up nearby for a cozy nap. Food motivated and friendly, she has a soft nature and thrives on human companionship. Having previously lived with another dog, Gorda would do best with gentle introductions and a routine that helps her adjust. She knows a few commands in Spanish, rides well in the car, and has been playful with the children she grew up around. Gorda has even made a splash by meeting the USD women's basketball team and has appeared in the news. Adapting to new changes can be challenging, but with kindness and consistency, Gorda is bound to blossom into a loyal companion. She's been vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, so she’s ready for a loving home. Grab a leash and come meet Gorda to see if she's the one for you!
