Doug is a neutered, young male Pug who is house trained and has his vaccinations up to date. He is a small dog with a yellow/tan coat and needs a loving, understanding home to thrive. Doug faces anxiety challenges and is on a manageable medication regimen for support. He is located in Eagle, ID.

About Doug

Meet Doug, a dapper Pug who is all about loyalty and companionship. At around 5 years old, he thrives on being close to his favorite human and will happily be your dedicated sidekick. While he has a big personality and a lot of love to give, Doug faces some challenges due to anxiety, especially when left alone or separated by barriers like baby gates. He’s currently on a daily anxiety medication that has been effective, and this will likely be a part of his routine going forward. Doug would prefer to be the only dog in the home, although he might enjoy the company of a calm, submissive canine that respects his boundaries. A home without young children would be ideal, as he needs someone who will be present and supportive during his journey to build confidence and security. Doug isn’t looking for a quick fix; he needs a patient person who understands that his challenges stem from fear. In return, you’ll find a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. If you believe you can be the right fit for Doug and create the understanding home he deserves, he would love to meet you!
