About Ricky

Meet Ricky, the charming short bully mix. Weighing in at a SMALL 35 pounds, he is a 1-year-old dog who thrives on human companionship. Ricky is known as a "velcro dog" because he loves being right by your side and is an excellent snuggle buddy—especially at bedtime, although he does have a bit of a snore due to his Bulldog heritage. Ricky is housebroken, and while he has some separation anxiety, he settles well in his crate with a toy or bone. He enjoys daily activity, from chasing balls to going on walks, and walks nicely on a leash. He’s eager to learn basic commands and responds well to positive training—treats are his favorite motivator! With an eye-catching partial heterochromia gene, he has a streak of blue in one eye that’s considered good luck. He adores playing with other dogs of all sizes and adapts well to correction from playmates. Ricky’s ideal home would have a flexible schedule where someone is home most of the day, and he would benefit from a securely fenced yard or regular walks. He’s a friendly, young guy who loves everyone he meets. Prepare to welcome this joyful dog into your home! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
