About Louie
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Meet Louie! Louie is a resilient and sweet soul who was rescued after overcoming a medical issue that’s now fully resolved. When he first arrived, Louie was heartbreakingly underweight, but with compassion and proper nutrition, he’s gained 15 pounds and continues to thrive every day. Louie does very well in his crate and excels with structure and routine. He’s been neutral around other dogs and can coexist calmly with proper intros; however, he hasn’t been tested with cats yet. Watching Louie rediscover simple joys, like supervised play sessions where he gleefully destroys his favorite stuffies, shows how far he’s come and how much happiness he’s found. Now healthy and ready for the next chapter, Louie is eager to find a forever family. He would do best in a home without children under age 15, where his boundaries are respected and his confidence continues to blossom. If you’re seeking a loyal companion who will truly cherish a second chance, Louie’s ready to become part of your family. By the way, since Louie was born January 1, he’s a determined Capricorn—Capricorns are known for their discipline and steady nature! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
