About Zeus

Zeus is a charming 4-year-old, 50–60 lb neutered Red Nose Pit Bull with a vibrant personality. He's been on a quest for his forever home for too long and is eager to find a loving family. This affectionate “big ol’ baby” loves to be close to his humans and won’t hesitate to claim your favorite couch spot—or bed! He is house trained, walks well on a leash, enjoys the company of kids, and thrives on attention. While he’s a wonderful companion, Zeus does need to be the only pet in the house; he prefers to be the king of his castle and would like to share his life with a family that appreciates his need for undivided affection. Loud noises can make him anxious, so he would do best in a calm environment where he can feel secure. Zeus's journey hasn't been easy, having been abandoned four years ago and later found himself back at the pet resort after his family could no longer keep him. Despite this, he still has an abundance of love to share. He enjoys baths, is indifferent to nail trims, knows some commands (though he might choose when to use them), and is perfectly content lounging around. Zeus is on the lookout for a forever home where he won't face the feeling of abandonment again. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a goofy, affectionate boy, Zeus might just be the perfect match for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
