About Finn

Meet Finn! This little Dachshund is full of charm and personality. He was rescued from a hoarding situation, so he’s still finding his way in the world. Finn can be a bit shy when he first meets new people, but it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. Once he does, you'll discover a playful and affectionate companion. Finn adores other dogs and enjoys their company, big or small. He’s a toy enthusiast, often surrounded by several favorites in his crate. If you take him on car rides, expect an adorable show of excitement afterward, especially when he gets the zoomies after potty breaks! He’s crate trained and nearly potty trained but may have the occasional accident. Finn is still learning how to walk on a leash, and he doesn’t understand stairs yet, which means he’ll need a family willing to assist him. He thrives in a secure, fenced yard and would benefit from a sibling dog to play with. While he does live with children, he can be anxious around younger kids, so a home with older, respectful children or adults would suit him best. Finn is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a loving family who will give him the time and encouragement to continue blossoming into the confident, joyful pup he is meant to be.
