About Diggy
Meet Diggy! Diggy is a 3-year-old, 25-pound Dachshund/Poodle mix with a joyful demeanor and an endless capacity for love. This charming chocolate-colored boy is adapting to life after being surrendered by his family, who could no longer afford the medications necessary to manage his seizures. While Diggy does experience seizures a few times a month, he remains a laid-back companion. He takes phenobarbital and Keppra on a strict schedule at 6 AM, 2 PM, 6 PM, and 10 PM. His ideal home needs someone committed to maintaining this routine every day. Despite his medical needs, he has a playful personality. He enjoys toys, belly rubs, and the company of both dogs and cats. Diggy is potty pad trained and knows basic commands like sit, come, and no, though he may still have the occasional accident. He thrives in environments with a fenced yard where he can safely explore, and a standard fence would suit him just fine. This sweet boy is not looking for perfection but rather a loving and responsible home willing to embrace his medication routine. In return, you'll gain a gentle, affectionate companion eager to give and receive love. If you can open your heart and schedule for Diggy, he would be thrilled to meet you! Diggy is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and is on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $350. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
