Loopy: Your 15-Pound Personal Assistant Meet Loopy, a 10-year-old Dachshund who’s never met a stranger or turned down a tasty snack. He believes wherever you are is where he should be. Whether you’re off to the bathroom, checking out the kitchen, or lounging on the couch, Loopy will be your loyal companion. This little guy is the perfect blend of a Walmart greeter and a professional snuggler. He adores people of all ages and gets along wonderfully with other small dogs. Loopy thrives on human companionship. He’ll follow you around, nap beside you, and snuggle as close as possible. While he wants to jump into bed with you, he’s also fine with having his own cozy space nearby. A bit of a troublemaker at times, Loopy has shown some crafty skills in escaping his crate. Now, he enjoys his gated kitchen area where he can’t deploy those skills. Because he’s a Velcro baby, Loopy wants nothing more than your company. Loopy has some special needs that require attention. He’s incontinent and wears stylish little man pants to help manage that. He also has Cushing's disease and a grade-one heart murmur, but these conditions don’t seem to slow him down much; he still loves to play and run around. Loopy enjoys basking in the sun and has a wonderfully low-shedding coat, although he’ll need a stylish sweater for colder weather. Despite a moderate activity level, Loopy’s not looking for a family that wants to hike long distances. A few walks, shopping trips, or just some time in the yard is perfect for him. He’s a happy little guy who generally gets along with everyone and loves life. He’s ready for a new adventure and looking for a person to share his love.
