About Dixie
Meet Dixie. This 70-pound male Great Pyrenees mix has a gentle heart and a friendly personality, making him a loyal companion. Dixie is the kind of dog who revels in affection, always eager for pets and cuddles. Whether he's leaning in for scratches or soaking up belly rubs, his happiest moments are those spent with his humans. He has a playful side too, enjoying walks, chasing toys, and rolling around in the grass with a big smile on his face. Treat time is also a highlight for Dixie, who is potty and crate trained, as well as leash trained. Dixie gets along well with other dogs; while he may not engage in rough play, he's perfectly content sharing his home or being the sole beloved pup. He has yet to be around children or cats, but his friendly nature suggests he could adapt well, especially with respectful kids. He’s not known for chasing local wildlife, and a cat test can be arranged if needed. This sweet boy asks for very little—a loving family, ample space to roam, and time spent with his favorite humans. In return, he offers boundless loyalty and companionship. Ready to meet Dixie? Click apply to start the adoption process.
