About Trixie
Meet Trixie, a vibrant little Chihuahua with a big bark and an even bigger personality. At just 7 pounds, she's a 1-year-old bundle of energy looking for a special someone to help her learn that the world can be a wonderful place. Trixie has had a challenging past, coming from a hoarding situation, so she needs a patient and understanding adopter. She's learning to trust and requires time to adjust, but once she does, she can be a devoted companion, curling up beside you on the couch or snuggling in bed. She is smart and already crate trained, though she's still working on house and leash training. A confident canine friend could really help her feel secure. However, please remember that she’s scared and a flight risk; careful handling around doors and leashes is essential. Trixie is searching for a home that respects her boundaries, allows her to take her time, and celebrates her progress. If you're a patient person ready to help a timid but loving dog open up, Trixie could become your incredibly loyal friend. Her adoption fee is $150 and covers her spay, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
