About July

July is an adorable 8-year-old Pit Bull who has a knack for brightening up every day. Currently located in Houston, Texas, she was rescued from the brink of euthanasia and is now thriving in her foster home. With a weight of 59 pounds, she’s a lovely gray/blue girl who enjoys life to the fullest. This sweet, affectionate girl loves to curl up beside her favorite people, resting her head on your chest while receiving endless back scratches. She strikes a balance between playful and relaxed, enjoying daily walks and having fun with her toys. Her playful zoomies are a delightful sight, even if her run is a bit quirky! After some playtime, she happily winds down for cuddle time. July has a friendly disposition and has met other dogs with a warm greeting, so she could thrive with a playful canine companion or as your one-and-only. Fully house-trained, she has no accidents and is comfortable in her crate, although she might occasionally ‘borrow’ an unattended sandal. While she hasn't interacted with cats or children yet, her gentle nature suggests she'd fit well in a family environment, though supervised play with very young kids is advisable. July is looking for a home where she can share her loyalty and laughter. If you're seeking a companion who will lean into every cuddle and make you smile with her goofy antics, July is ready to meet you. This adoption includes transport once you are approved, and the donation fee is $475. Your new best friend is just a click away!
