Meet Solovino, whose name means "he came alone" in Spanish. This 1.5-year-old, 50-pound Husky has spent his life outdoors and isn’t quite sure what indoor living is all about. He’s neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped, but the concept of a couch or a decorative pillow is still foreign to him. Solovino needs a home with a fenced backyard where he can unwind and adapt. His understanding of toys is still a work in progress—dog toys and non-toys are a bit muddled to him at the moment. That said, he is potty trained and knows to nudge the door when he needs to go outside. Personality-wise, Solovino is sweet and gentle. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has a playful way of showing affection by rubbing against them. Kids are fine with him, and he rides well in the car. However, he needs gentle introductions to people, as he hasn't had much interaction before. Some men may make him suspicious—if they give off that “might steal my snacks” vibe, it’s a hard pass.
