About Benson

Meet Benson, affectionately known as our “pirate puppy.” This young Terrier mix was born missing an eye, but that hasn’t held him back at all. He is playful, adventurous, and brimming with energy—right along with his siblings. Benson's mom was a pregnant stray taken in by the shelter, and while dad is unknown, he’s sure to have inherited some fantastic traits. Benson is still in his puppy phase, meaning he needs a family ready for the joys of training. A patient and supportive environment, filled with love and positive reinforcement, will help him thrive. Although he isn’t house trained yet, his endearing nature will make the journey worthwhile. Benson is in Fort Worth, TX, but transport is available for serious adopters. If you think you can provide him with the loving home he deserves, let’s start the process. This could be the start of something paw-some.
