About Hazel

Hazel is a delightful and goofy girl who adores cuddles and being the star of the show. This large mixed breed truly believes she’s a lap dog and will gladly sit on anyone willing to make room for her. She knows basic commands like sit, wait, and lay down, and has recently picked up 'drop it,' which comes in handy when teaching her that toys belong outside. Hazel enjoys her daily walks, where she shines on the leash, even coordinating parallel walks and playtime with other dogs. Though she can’t resist the urge to chase squirrels and rabbits, she handles distractions well and has a healthy appetite. While still getting used to her crate, she’s fully house trained and does great alone at home. Approach her crate time gradually, as she prefers not to be confined for long stretches just yet. Enrichment activities and treats have turned her crate into a more inviting space. Hazel loves being around her people and seeks constant companionship. If you’re looking for a playful and affectionate companion, Hazel is your girl. Click apply to start the adoption process.
