About Speckles

Speckles is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas, and he’s a real gem. This brave boy was found chasing cars, likely abandoned and struggling after being malnourished. Thankfully, he made it to safety. Speckles has a gentle nature and a good sense of humor; he's playful with toys and keeps a clean kennel, suggesting he might have had a home before. Though he’s still refining his leash manners, he shows promise in being dog social and gets along well with cats. Now weighing about 50 lbs and estimated to be 3 years old, Speckles is perfectly sized for a medium-energy household. He thrives on human companionship and enjoys snuggling and sunbathing. Speckles has been tested around a 4-year-old child and showed affection, though he can be a little exuberant, so older kids aged 8 and up might be better suited for him. If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s already on his way to recovery, Speckles could be the perfect match for you. Ready to welcome this amazing dog into your life?
