Meet Electra Stardust! This lively four-and-a-half-year-old American Pitbull Terrier/German Shepherd mix is currently in San Diego, CA. Wrapped in a beautiful tricolor coat, she embodies the essence of a sweet, silly goofball. At 38 pounds, Electra is a medium-sized girl with a knack for staying by her favorite person's side. She’s known as a true “velcro dog,” effortlessly making herself a part of daily life—whether you're relaxing on the couch or enjoying some fresh air outside. Electra’s playful spirit shines during playtime; she delights in running, jumping, and even catching snacks tossed in the air. This clever girl knows a variety of commands including sit, come, and down, and she thrives on structure and positive reinforcement from her owner. While Electra has a joyful disposition, she can also feel fearful in certain situations. She expresses her discomfort through barking or backing away but has never shown aggression toward people. Due to past incidents with resource guarding, Electra needs to be the only pet in the home, as she does not get along with dogs or cats. A fenced yard is essential, as she's accustomed to outdoor space and wouldn't be suited for apartment living. Electra is looking for a home without young children; older children who respect her boundaries may work. She’s best matched with someone who understands canine body language and can dedicate time to her walks, playtime, and continuing her training.
