About Diesel

Meet Diesel, a lively almost two-year-old German Shepherd/Boxer mix blending joy with a tan coat and dark muzzle in Amherst, MA. This spirited fellow weighs about 75 pounds and approaches life with the excitement of a dog who believes every day holds something thrilling. Diesel is all about fun; he adores his red bone squeaky toy and is always ready for a game of tug of war. With his playful energy and loyalty, he's perfect for an active family looking for a devoted companion. While he connects well with people, Diesel needs an experienced owner to guide him, as his enthusiasm sometimes translates into jumping or excited nipping. He’s well-versed in commands like “stay,” but there's always more to learn. A creative digger, Diesel needs a secure fenced yard where he can express that talent without modifying your home. Although he's house-trained, he requires supervision outdoors for a stable routine. While Diesel handles short alone times, he’s not fond of being left for too long, especially with loud noises like fireworks around. He meshes well with other dogs, including small ones, but would do best in a cat-free home. Diesel is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, making him ready to find that perfect match with an active family open to training and adventure. Ready to dive into life with Diesel and transform his energy and loyalty into daily adventures together? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
