Alvin
AvailableAlvin is a small male mixed-breed dog. While he is an adult, his exact age is unknown. He has a medium coat and is fully vaccinated. Although he is not yet house trained, he is neutered and ready for his forever home in Mansfield, TX. Alvin has overcome significant challenges and is looking for a patient person to guide him further along his journey.
About Alvin
Alvin is ready for a new chapter in his life, one filled with love and comfort. For most of his life, he and his friend Monica were confined in a kennel at a hoarding situation, missing out on the joys of a normal existence. Both dogs are heartworm positive, but they have supported each other through the tough times. Since being rescued, Alvin has started to learn the value of gentle walks and human kindness. He still finds new sounds and places a bit daunting, so he needs a patient, calm environment where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. Progress for Alvin is often about the small victories — the first peaceful nap, a confident step during a walk, and the discovery of safety in his surroundings. He deserves a loving home that recognizes his journey and is willing to invest the time and dedication it takes to show him what a true home feels like. This boy is worth the effort and so much more. Let’s help Alvin find that special person who will cherish him. Every adoption includes age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and spaying or neutering. Adoption fee is $250.
