Although he does not get along with other dogs, he has experience living with an older cat. With a bright mind and a playful personality, Jenkins is ready for a loving home without other pets, located in Colleyville, TX.

About Jenkins

Jenkins is a clever 6-year-old Corgi who weighs 30 pounds. He excels at fetch and can solve puzzles in no time. Jenkins has figured out that dropping the ball at your feet will prompt you to throw it, and he’s always ready to clean up any crumbs in the kitchen. Treats, especially cheerios, motivate him to show off his skills; he knows a collection of commands including sit, down, wait, and roll. When he's tired, he loves to snuggle up beside you like a perfect little spoon. While Jenkins has lived with another dog, he has experienced stress around other pups, which has led to redirected aggression in the past. He’s been working closely with a behaviorist and is currently on medication to help manage his emotions. Jenkins would do best in a home without other dogs to ensure he thrives and stays safe. He has lived with an older cat, but we cannot guarantee how he will adapt to new feline friends. This adorable Corgi is crate-trained, harness-trained, and familiar with using a doggie door. Jenkins is not a fan of waiting, and he’ll remind you when it’s meal time! Jenkins is currently in Colleyville, TX, but is available for adoption and transport outside the state.
