About Arthur
Meet Arthur! This charming 5-year-old, 78-pound neutered Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix is currently located in Houston, Texas, and ready for his forever home. Arthur has a big personality and an even bigger heart. He perfectly balances being a playful adventure buddy with an affectionate cuddle companion. Previously found roaming a park, he’s now in a loving foster home, waiting for someone just like you. Arthur loves life and approaches each day with enthusiasm. As a moderate-energy guy, he enjoys playtime, exploring, and bonding with his human companions. He has gotten along beautifully with dogs of all sizes—whether it’s a large Black Lab or a tiny Chihuahua. He’s even been around cats and pot-bellied pigs without any aggression, simply curious about them. Having spent time around young children, Arthur behaves well. He might accidentally knock over a small child in his excitement, so a family that understands his spirited nature would be ideal. Arthur is fully house-trained and crate-trained, making him a well-behaved addition to any family. He loves car rides and settles nicely into a routine during walks, although he may pull at first. Arthur thrives on companionship and regular exercise, so his ideal home would include an active family that appreciates having him join in everyday adventures. If you're seeking a loyal, loving companion who enjoys both excitement and cozy cuddles, Arthur could be the perfect fit. Click apply to start the adoption process.
