About Xena

Xena is here and ready for her new family! Brought in as an owner surrender, this sweet and affectionate girl is a Pit Bull mix weighing in at about 58 lbs and is estimated to be around 5.5 years old. She has a playful spirit, especially when it comes to chasing after a ball. Although she can be shy initially, give her a little time, and she'll be cuddled up in your lap before you know it. Xena is eager to please and should be easy to train. She knows basic commands and walks reasonably well on a leash with minimal pulling. Please note, she hasn't spent much time indoors and is not yet potty trained, making a cozy indoor environment essential for her. In her previous interactions, she has done well with other dogs but will need slow introductions with any new furry friends. She's not had much experience with cats, so a home without them would be ideal. Because she hasn’t been around young kids, she'd likely do best in a toddler-free home. Xena is not yet spayed, but she has an appointment scheduled for October 6th. If you're looking for a loving companion who is ready to warm your heart, Xena is your girl! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
