About Zeus
Meet Zeus, a playful giant with a goofy personality. This 2-year-old Mastiff mix weighs in at a hefty 80 lbs. He loves to sprint around the yard, often opting for an exuberant leap down the deck stairs rather than taking it slow. When he’s ready to chill, he drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes and can often be found napping the day away. Zeus enjoys chewing on toys like Nylabones and sticks, but be prepared—he might drool a bit! In his foster home, he doesn’t bark much but will certainly let you know if someone is outside. Zeus prefers a home where someone is around most of the time, as he’s happiest near his people. A calm and patient family would be best for him, particularly one that can help build his confidence. He gets a bit nervous in new environments, but with some love and tasty treats, he can be quite bold. He’s about 90% house trained but will need some guidance to finalize that. While he may take a little time to warm up to new dogs, a slow introduction is key, especially if they’re calm companions. He has recovered well from a recent surgery but should be monitored closely to ensure he doesn’t ingest anything he shouldn't. If you think you can offer Zeus the loving home he deserves, don’t hesitate to reach out!
