Bat is a sweet, introverted dog who appreciates her own space, especially in a shelter environment. With the right home, she will likely come out of her shell and show her true personality. Ideally, she would thrive in a home with a low-key dog companion, as large or energetic friends might overwhelm her. She’s not the best fit for homes with young, noisy children, so a mature environment would suit her better. Bat is a medium-sized shepherd mix, around 3 years old, and has been spayed. She is currently located in Des Moines, IA, at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa Inc. If you're looking for a loving companion who can appreciate a quieter lifestyle, Bat could be the perfect match.
