About Cubbie
Introducing Cubbie Meet Cubbie, an adorable little Golden Retriever and Shepherd mix, born July 27, 2026. She looks a lot like a tiny bear cub, which is where her name comes from. Cubbie is one of three puppies recently rescued from Lancaster, where feral adult dogs have found sanctuary. As you can imagine, capturing these fearful dogs is a challenge, so we step in whenever we can to help their puppies find loving homes. At just about two months old, Cubbie is already showing her sweet and playful personality. She gets along well with other dogs and kids, and with proper introductions, she should do well with cats too. Currently, she's learning the basics of potty training. Cubbie needs a family that’s ready for the fun and commitment of raising a puppy, filled with love, training, and patience. Cubbie may have started her life uncertainly, but she has a bright future ahead. Now, she just needs a family to call her own. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
