Meet Ellie! Ellie is a sweet and gentle girl learning that people can be kind and that home can be a safe space. She may feel a bit nervous at first but is quickly settling in, revealing her fun personality. Ellie adores attention and affection—she loves to be petted. She gets along with other dogs and has happily merged into her foster home, enjoying playtime in the fenced yard. While she has good house manners and crates quietly for meals and bedtime, her leash skills are still a work in progress. Potty training is improving as she finds her routine, and no aggression has been noted in her interactions. A calmer home without very young or overly energetic children would probably suit her best as she builds confidence. Although she did nip out of fear during her rescue, it didn’t break the skin, and she has become incredibly friendly since then. Ellie just needs patience, kindness, and time to feel completely safe.
