About Dorothy

Meet Dorothy! This charming little pup is part of the Golden Girls litter. At about 2.5 months old and weighing just 5 lbs, Dorothy is a tiny chihuahua mix and won’t grow up to be large at all. With her striking features, especially the distinct dark spot on her forehead, she’s as cute as they come. Just like her sister Blanche, Dorothy embodies the sweetness of puppyhood—playful, curious, and affectionate. Currently in a loving foster home, Dorothy enjoys the company of various dogs, getting along with everyone she meets. Her foster mom is an amazing independent rescuer, which has helped Dorothy learn essential social skills. Plus, she’s also great with cats! Dorothy is doing well with her house training, using both outdoor space and pads, but will need some guidance in her new home. After being rescued from a neighbor’s home, she is now up to date on vaccinations and ready for adoption. Please note that Dorothy is currently in Puerto Rico but can fly to her forever home once adopted. They make it incredibly easy to arrange travel to various airports, so don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions about the process. Are you ready to bring this sweet puppy into your life?
