About Shadow

Shadow is a handsome senior Pit Bull mix born in August 2013. This sweet boy came to the shelter as a stray. He had a microchip, but sadly, his owner no longer wanted him. Now Shadow is in search of what every senior dog should have—a loving home to spend his golden years surrounded by caring people. Rather than endless adventures, he's looking for comfort, companionship, and someone who will cherish him for however long he has left to give his affection. While Shadow has some age-related medical concerns, they don't require immediate treatment. His new family should be ready to monitor his health as he ages. A fenced yard is a must for Shadow since he might wander. We can't say much about how he interacts with cats or other dogs, so careful introductions are vital. He may also do well with respectful children who understand how to interact gently with senior dogs. Shadow has known the feeling of being unwanted; now he deserves to be loved and cherished.
