Clive York is a 2-year-old male Yorkshire Terrier, weighing in at 11 pounds. Rescued from a hoarding situation, he’s still learning that the world can be a safe and joyful place. While a bit skittish around new faces, he’s gradually opening up to the people and dogs around him. With each passing day, his affectionate and playful personality is shining through, revealing a charming little dog with plenty of spunk. Clive must go to a home with another dog, as he truly thrives in their company, becoming more curious and playful. He gets along with children and most dogs, though larger, very energetic dogs can make him nervous. Clive loves the outdoors and has an adventurous spirit that comes alive in the yard; however, he's still refining his leash skills and requires a secure, fully fenced yard since he can easily jump a 26-inch gate. While he isn't house-trained yet, he’s smart and making progress. Clive seeks a patient adopter with a secure, fenced yard and another dog to help him continue to blossom.
