About Emu

Meet Emu, an adorable Australian-themed kitten who is around 2.5 months old and weighs approximately 1.5 lbs. This little one and her siblings found themselves on their own at just five weeks old but were thankfully rescued and placed in a loving foster home. Emu has thrived in her new environment and is now eager to find her forever home. Emu gets along wonderfully with her siblings and the other cats in her foster home, making her a great candidate for a household with another feline companion. She has shown no fear of the dogs she has encountered and seems open to becoming friends with a kitty-friendly dog, too. Being a playful kitten, she adores children who are gentle and know how to interact with her. This sweet girl is both cuddly and playful, enjoying time spent lounging on laps as well as engaging in active play. She is litter trained, keeping her space tidy. Emu loves chasing mouse toys and climbing, always ready to entertain. She does require a little more growth before her spaying procedure can be scheduled, but the cost will be covered by Mostly Mutts with an approved vet in the North Metro Atlanta area. If you’re ready for a delightful, loving, and spirited companion, Emu is waiting for you! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
