Meet Monet! Monet is a wonderful 3-year-old Plott Hound mix who was rescued from Devore along with her sister, Matisse. Both girls found themselves on the euthanasia list but are now safe and thriving in foster care. Monet weighs in at 50 pounds and has quickly settled into her new surroundings, proving to be an absolute gem. She is house trained, great with other dogs, and enjoys gentle walks on a leash. Monet takes treats delicately and is sweet, calm, and affectionate. Playful without going overboard, she can be just as happy lounging at your feet as she is having a cuddle session. Her foster describes her as a "gentle soul," and that perfectly captures her essence. Monet loves being around her humans and fellow dog. She shares toys well and has a few quirky hobbies: she occasionally steals socks and shoes (but never destroys them), loves to scout the counters for interesting finds, and mysteriously becomes very heavy when it’s time to get off the couch or leave the car. Monet is the kind of dog who is affectionate without being needy, making her a joy to have around. She’s ready to bring happiness to her new home.
