About Rosie
Rosie found her way to a nurturing foster mom after spending nearly three weeks waiting in a county shelter. Rescued from a life of concrete and wire, this sweet girl has a lot of love and charm to share. Despite being deaf, she jumped into her new life with enthusiasm. After a short time to decompress and feel safe, Rosie blossomed into a friendly and outgoing companion. Tail wagging and eyes sparkling, she shines in the company of people, reveling in affection and attention like the loving dog she is. With a heart-shaped spot on her nose that’s hard to resist, Rosie is always ready for belly rubs. She enjoys playtime but can be a bit exuberant, especially when interacting with other dogs. Due to her hearing impairment, she might not pick up on signals that another dog has had enough. She's approximately 2 years old and weighs around 60 pounds, embodying the spirit of an oversized puppy who’s still learning some of the ropes. Rosie would thrive best in a home where she is the only pet, ideally with children older than 12. Her playful nature means things can get a bit mouthy, so older kids will ensure both safety and fun. If she's not on a mission for tasty treats, Rosie loves snuggling on the couch, soaking up all the family love. Fully vetted, crate trained, and house trained, Rosie loves her walks and knows how to behave on a leash. With a clean bill of health and a ProHeart 12 for heartworm prevention, she’s ready to become part of your family. Current on her vaccinations and already spayed, Rosie is looking for a forever home where she can truly shine. Don’t miss your chance to welcome this delightful girl into your life!
