About India

India is a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees mix weighing in at about 90 pounds. She has a sweet face and an even sweeter spirit, but she’s not the adventurous type. While others may dream of hiking mountains or exploring the great outdoors, India prefers the comfort of home. Having arrived in rough shape six months ago, India has blossomed into a healthy and lovely dog, though she remains on the shy side. She seeks a tranquil environment with caring companions who will soothe her with gentle words and a few toys. Ideally, she would love a fenced yard for relaxed strolls and a home where the temperature stays around 72 degrees. India is great with dogs and cats and is good with respectful children, but she’d thrive best in a quieter household. Her perfect family would allow her the space to warm up at her own pace without pressure. If you are looking for a loyal companion who prefers a calm life over a busy schedule, India is ready to meet you. If you’re interested in adopting her, please apply soon!
