Matilda is a 3.5-year-old small female Shih Tzu mix, and she has a lovely black coat. She’s altered and up to date on vaccinations, ready for her forever home in Phoenix, AZ.

About Matilda

Matilda is a sweet and somewhat shy little girl who just needs the right person to give her the time and patience to thrive. It took her about two weeks to feel comfortable enough to be petted when she first arrived at her foster home. Once she realized she was safe, her lovely personality began to shine. Now, Matilda enjoys snuggling on the couch, rolling over for belly rubs, and soaking up all the love she can get. She’s even beginning to enjoy her walks! Matilda is looking for a family that appreciates the value of trust and is willing to let her come out of her shell at her own pace.
