About Ceiba and Luna
Meet Ceiba and Luna, a loving mother-daughter duo eager to find their forever home together. Luna, born on March 14, 2020, is an 18-pound Maltese/Shih Tzu mix. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and has a gentle demeanor. House trained and dog door trained, she's also leash trained and already knows commands like sit, stay, and come. With a calm nature, Luna is content lounging while you're at work. After a brief adjustment period, her sweet and affectionate personality shines. She relishes belly rubs, cozy car rides, and snuggling close to her people, delighting in playtime with Ceiba. Ceiba, born on February 12, 2021, is a 10-pound mix of Maltese, Shih Tzu, and West Highland Terrier. Also spayed and up to date on vaccines, she’s cheerful and playful after settling in. Clever and food motivated, she performs a charming dance on her hind legs for treats. Ceiba enjoys car rides, napping, and cuddling with Luna. Both love being around dogs, cats, and children. They bring alert barks when someone’s at the door and are not crate trained, so they’ll need some time to adjust to prolonged handling of their paws. Regular canine steps would assist them due to their small stature. Slightly overweight, Luna is on a grain-free, fish-based diet to address possible allergies and skin sensitivities. Having spent their lives together in a loving home, Ceiba and Luna are ready to continue their journey with a family who values keeping them together. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
