About Bobo

Meet Bobo, a 7-year-old neutered male AKC Standard Poodle from Elk River, MN. Weighing in at 51 pounds and standing 25.5 inches tall, Bobo was previously known as “Boaz” but has embraced his new, upbeat name. After being deeply loved by a senior couple who could no longer care for him, Bobo came to our rescue recently. Despite his challenging transition, which included a necessary shave to address matting and treatment for ear issues, Bobo is remarkably friendly, sociable, and affectionate. He enjoys following his foster family around the house and seeks attention from everyone he meets. Although he has thrived as an only dog in his foster home, he delights in the company of other large dogs and would readily engage in playful games. Bobo loves daily walks and is still learning to walk politely on a leash, especially when he spots squirrels, which he will eagerly chase. He is well house-trained and has free access to his home when his family is away, showing he can adapt well. A securely fenced yard is essential for Bobo, and a home with prior Poodle experience will be prioritized. He is not suitable for families with cats or small dogs, as he may chase them. Bobo is friendly with larger dogs and kids, ensuring he will fit into various home settings with the right supervision. He has been vet-checked and is up to date on all vaccinations and dental care, ready to find his forever home where he can thrive. If you're looking for a spirited, loving companion like Bobo, consider adopting him today!
