About Shaggy Sue Springfield
Meet Shaggy Sue Springfield, affectionately known as Shagalicious! This lovely girl, weighing in at 44 pounds, is believed to be an Aussiedoodle, and she’s a testament to the healing power of love and patience. Shaggy’s journey began when she was found abandoned in a St. Louis area known for pet drop-offs. Despite arriving in poor condition, severely matted and needing a complete shave, she has embraced her new life. Initially shy, she quickly became devoted to those she trusts, revealing her playful and affectionate spirit as she realized she was safe. Now, she happily engages with new faces and thrives around dogs, cats, and children, making her an ideal addition to any family. This girl is fully potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Shaggy is pleasantly quiet, rarely barking at all. Food is her passion; she eagerly runs into her crate when dinner time approaches! Currently at a healthy 44 pounds, she's close to her perfect weight of 45-46 pounds. Seeing Shaggy grow from a fearful dog into the joyful companion she is now has been a wonderful experience. All she needs is a family to provide her with continued love and stability. Shaggy is ready for the next chapter of her life—could your home be her forever one? Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
