Meet Ethel! Ethel is a sweet, laid-back companion who enjoys the simple pleasures of life. She loves spending time with her people and can often be found soaking up the sunshine. If allowed, she'd spend her whole day basking outside. She’s kennel trained, potty trained, and has excellent house manners. Ethel is gentle with children, including toddlers, making her a fantastic choice for families. Ethel is food motivated and currently on a little weight loss journey. She believes every meal should come with seconds and maybe a few extra snacks! We’re helping her shed a couple of pounds one treat at a time. When it comes to leash walking, she’s making progress but can be a bit pull-happy, especially when she spots squirrels or bunnies. One aspect we’re working on is her tendency to growl while eating, but she’s shown improvement with patience and positive reinforcement.
