About Max

Max is an 8-year-old, 18 lb Pomeranian/Shiba Inu mix. His coat was in rough shape when he arrived, filthy and matted. After several baths from his foster mom and a thorough grooming, Max is now clean and handsome. His unique look features one standing ear and one that flops, enhancing his charm. While he doesn't bark often, his occasional honks will surely bring a smile. Toys are his true loveโ€”Max needs chew toys available at all times and prefers to take them everywhere. Heโ€™s a little possessive of his toys, but he shares well when it comes to food. Max enjoys wandering the yard and watching the big dogs, but he equally values cuddle time and long naps on a cozy lap. He thrives in a quiet home where someone is around frequently. His attachment to his caregiver is quick and strong, ensuring a smooth transition for him. Max is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms, which will be covered by Humane Tomorrow and their partner vet. Ready to welcome a sweet companion into your life?
