About Camino

Camino is a young male cat with a remarkable backstory. He spent his early days outdoors with his brothers until a compassionate man discovered them, fed them, and helped them trust humans. While Camino's brothers found their way to rescue earlier, he had to navigate two more weeks on his own before being safely trapped. Settling into his foster home, Camino has been slowly coming out of his shell. He still prefers safe, small spaces, often curling up in his cozy cat cave. He loves attention and enjoys gentle pets, although he’s still warming up to the idea of laps unless they're suited for his cave-like comfort. Playing with toys is a new experience for him, but he’s starting to discover the joy of having a secure home. He appreciates early morning treats and good meals, gets along well with other cats, but doesn't feel the need to socialize heavily. Ideally, a feline friend would really help him thrive in a new environment. Camino would benefit from a safe yard to explore and enjoy nature on sunny days. This sleek black beauty is ready to find his forever family and complete his heartwarming journey into a life full of love and safety. He is located in Anchorage, AK, and remember, there’s no adoption fee, as Camino has been sponsored by the Collello family. Call 907 980-8898 to learn more.
