About Simon

Meet Simon! Simon, or "Mr. Si," is about seven years old, and he’s ready for his forever home after having a rough start. Living as a stray on JBER, he has quickly embraced the domesticated life. This sophisticated gentleman has five teeth left, but that doesn’t stop him from being a true foodie. He takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he’s an absolute sweetheart. Chin scratches? He loves them. While he enjoys climbing into your lap and making biscuits, he prefers not to be picked up. After so long on the streets, Simon expresses love in unique ways, often resulting in playful love bites—not painful, just a sign of his affection! Simon is great with young kids who understand to give him space at first. He’s fond of small, calm dogs but a bit uncertain around larger ones. He also looks forward to meeting other cats, though he hasn’t interacted with them much yet. A nice yard for exploration, close to home, would be perfect for him, as he never wants to feel lost again. He's located in Anchorage, AK, and would love to meet you! What are you waiting for?
