About Pistol Pete

Meet Pistol Pete! This charming Chihuahua arrived at the shelter in August 2026 as a stray. He came with a prolapsed penis, but he has since been neutered, helping him with this issue. Potential adopters will receive guidance on any further care related to this. Pistol Pete has spent time in a foster home, where it's clear he thrives on companionship and loves to snuggle. He's a velcro pup who gives sweet kisses and has a playful spirit despite being a senior. Pistol Pete gets along well with both dogs and cats, although meet-and-greets are required for dog introductions. He enjoys playing, and while he’s still refining his manners during playtime, he learns quickly. He has shown to be good with kids, but we recommend he goes to a home with children aged 7 and up due to his playful nature.
