About Berkley
Meet Berkley! This spirited three-year-old German Shepherd/Hound mix brings a joyful blend of playful energy and devoted companionship. With his silky black and tan coat, sleepy yet huge ears, and a heart to match, he stands at about 70 pounds of pure charm. His smile lights up the room, especially when he's proudly carrying a tennis ball after a successful play session. Berkley has a love for toys of all kinds and enjoys sharing the fun. Toss a ball or start a game of tug-of-war and watch him spring to life. He enjoys running around, going for car rides, and taking calm walks, but he’s just as happy to settle down for some well-earned cuddles afterward. Whether it’s an adventurous day or a cozy couch session, he loves being surrounded by his people. He’s house-trained and crate trained. Berkley knows his basic commands and can relax in his crate when left alone for short periods. He gets along well with other dogs and is gentle with children of all ages, especially those who appreciate his energetic playfulness. On leash, Berkley can be a little reactive around excitable dogs and busy environments can overwhelm him. With some ongoing leash training and positive reinforcement, he’ll build his confidence. A fenced yard would be perfect for him to exercise and play freely while improving his leash manners. Berkley is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He’s ready to bring happiness and companionship to a loving home! Could he be the big-eared, big-hearted sidekick your family has been waiting to meet? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
