Wonton is a delightful little Shih Tzu who embodies a gentle spirit, reminiscent of a Chewbacca character. At two years old and about twelve pounds, he quietly observes his surroundings, showcasing a soft, calm demeanor. His journey in becoming more social has been heartwarming; it took some time for him to feel comfortable enough to engage with his foster mom and her dogs. Wonton thrives in calm environments where he can gradually acclimate at his own pace. A secure, fenced yard is essential since he hasn’t yet mastered leash walking. Although he may be stoic, Wonton is beginning to seek affection and warms up beautifully with patience. He is fully vetted—neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations.
