About Winnie
Winnie is a 5-year-old, 13-pound spayed Chihuahua mix currently in Texas, ready to bring her big personality to a loving home. She's a tiny dog bursting with affection, who loves to curl up in your lap and join in on daily activities. Her playful nature shines through during her occasional zoomies, and she's surprisingly confident around larger dogs, making her a joyful companion. Once part of a 80-Chihuahua hoarding case, she arrived at rescue in need of care and has since thrived. Though she's still growing back her beautiful coat after recovering from mange, Winnie is now full of life and energy. Winnie enjoys playing chase and has delightful play sessions with larger canine friends, though she prefers a home without cats due to her instinct to chase them. She's house and crate trained, settling comfortably in her crate when needed. While Winnie is working on her leash manners, she’s enthusiastic about walks and greeting new friends along the way. With some patience and guidance, she’ll learn to enjoy leisurely strolls. She's a confident little housemate who knows what she likes, eager for a family that can provide love and structure. If you're searching for a cuddly companion filled with personality and love, Winnie might be the perfect fit for your household. Ready to meet Winnie? Click apply to start the adoption process.
