Rubble
AvailableRubble is a playful male puppy who was rescued as part of a family of six. Currently, he is about 9 weeks old and is a medium-sized dog. Rubble sports a mix of brindle, black, and white/cream in his medium-length coat. He is up to date on vaccinations but is not yet house trained. Rubble will need to be altered by six months. He is located in Saint Paul, MN, and weighs approximately 10.6 lbs.
About Rubble
Rubble will be at a meet and greet/adoption event at Arbeiter Brewing on October 3 from 12 to 3 PM (unless adopted before then). This is a great opportunity to cuddle with him and possibly find your next best friend. As the largest member of a family of six, Rubble was taken in by PUP after his mother was abandoned before giving birth. A caring Good Samaritan looked after them until they were ready for rescue. Rubble is friendly and well socialized, and he’s expected to be on the larger end of medium when fully grown. Currently, he is about 9 weeks old and weighed 10.6 pounds on September 29. Although we don’t know his exact breed yet, we suspect he might be a shepherd cross, possibly mixed with Husky, Miniature American Shepherd, or even Chihuahua based on the region's canine population. In his foster home, Rubble is using newspapers reliably and is ready to begin outdoor house training. Puppies need exposure to various environments and situations to develop essential social skills. It’s important for Rubble to experience different sounds and meet diverse dogs and people often. Puppy play dates, trips to the pet store, and socialization classes are especially recommended. If you think you can provide the time and commitment that a puppy requires, he could be the right fit for you. Rubble has been vet checked, vaccinated, and de-wormed. He will need more vaccinations at the adopter’s expense, and his spay/neuter surgery, included in the adoption fee, must be scheduled by six months at the PUP clinic. If you’re at least 21 years old and ready to adopt, call 651-645-4370 between 7 AM and 9:30 PM to discuss. Renters must show proof their lease allows pets, and if you have other pets, be prepared to provide vet references. Get ready to welcome Rubble into your life. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
